he belongs in an office
he should not stand outside this tent
binoculars pointed toward
some horizon
a woman is naked inside the tent
green gossamer light holds her
in focus she permits this
the man watches sky & water
there is something somewhere
he needs to understand
he uses binoculars to do this
he does not need magnification
to study the woman
who stands behind him
because he knows her completely
he is wrong
